This is a review of Registry Fix, an automatic Windows registry cleaner tool that is extremely popular in the computer world. It has registered over 1.3 million downloads from the users located in various countries throughout the world.

We found Registry Fix to be fast and easy to download as well as install. Since it is a very small program, it took only a few moments to go through the entire process.

Review Criteria 2: Initial Impression

Registry Fix comes with an interface which is very straight forward and easy to understand. The software does not contain any unnecessary bells and whistles. This may put a few people off but we think most users will appreciate the simplicity of the program. The interface is not flashy. It uses the standard Windows box. This is a great advantage for systems that are slow as it will not eat up precious resources of your computer.

Review Criteria 3: Usability

As soon as we started the application, we noticed the main categories on the left side of the window and a range of scanning options on the right. The software uses cool colors and large easy-to-read icons that will be well appreciated by any user. It also offers advanced features like Startup Program Manager, Internet Browsing Manager and a unique Add or Remove Program Manager. We found Registry Fix to be a very intuitive and simple-to-use program, even for amateur users.

Review Criteria 4: Ability to Scan and Repair

Registry Fix ranks very high in our list of registry cleaners not only in its ability to conduct a thorough scan, but also to carry out major registry repairs, as well. In fact, it was able to detect 765 errors on our test computer, which was similar to its top competitors. With Registry Fix, it took only a few moments to thoroughly scan our registry for missing file associations, invalid or obsolete registry keys, incorrect file references, wrong or invalid file paths, corrupt DLLs and all other registry associated problems.

Unlike many other registry cleaners, Registry Fix provides email as well as chat support, which we tested. We were pleasantly surprised by the swift response we received from them. They have a complete online helpdesk that is available for users who purchase the full version of the program. Their website is quite comprehensive and full of important information about error solving and registry repair. Another nice feature is the program also provides a comprehensive Help menu that can be accessed by pressing F1.

Our Conclusion: We found Registry Fix to be an effective, no-nonsense registry cleaner tool which was very easy to navigate around. It can be easily installed on any computer by even amateur users to get rid of their registry problems and optimize their PC’s performance.
